Would you like to～「～しませんか？」の使い方の例文
Eric and Judy are walking in the park.This is the first time that they have been on a date.
They are discussing girls.
Eric：Girls have gotten very hard.
Judy：What do you mean by "hard"?
Eric：I mean that they're more like boys than girls.
Judy：In what way?
Eric：Well, they try to do all the things that boys do.
Judy：Do you think girls should be weak?
Eric：No,not weak. But the should be gentle.
Judy：Do you think I'm hard?
Eric：Of course not. You're different.
Judy：I'm glad you think so.
Eric：Say, there's a dance at school tonight. Would you like to go?
Judy：I'm sorry. I can't
Eric：Why?
Judy：I have a lesson.
Eric：Oh? What are you studying?
Judy：Karate.
Note
1.they have been on a date
「彼らがデータするのは？」の意味。
dateには「日付」の意味もありますが、この場合はもちろん、いわゆる「デート」のこと
2.discussing girls
「女性のことにちて、話している」discussはtalk aboutと同じ意味です。
talkにはaboutという前置詞が必要ですが、discussには要りません。
3.have gotten
「～になった」have becomeと同じ意味です。
gottenはgetの過去分詞で、got という形も使われます。会話ではbecomeよりもgetがよくつかわれ、Girls are becoming very hard.がGirls are getting very hard.になります。
4.hard
ここでは「ごつい」の意味・。hardには「固い」「むずかしい」「きつい」などの意味があります。
5.In what way?
「どういう点で」「どういう風に」という意味。
6.weak,gentle
weakは「かよわい」、gentle は「やさしい」の意味。
7.Of course not.
「もちろん違うよ」「とんでもない」Of course,you are not hard.の意味。
8.Say
「あのね」とか「ええと」くらいの感じで大した意味はなく、話の中継ぎや相手の注意をひくときに使います。
9.Would you like to～「～しませんか？、～したくありませんか？」の意味。
相手を何かに誘う時、よくつかわれる表現です。同じような表現で、How would you like to～（～するのはいかがですか？）という言い方もあります。
